‘After Hours’ with Noah Ballard
Episode 39

We wrap our “Odyssey” series on an endless SoHo night. It turns out Martin Scorsese’s “After Hours” works wonderfully as an unofficial “Odyssey” adaptation, and we have precisely the guest to speak to New York City’s sense of cosmic justice.
Noah Ballard is back to talk Scorsese’s ‘80s comeback, this film’s cavalcade of hilarious characters, and the times his parking garage has flooded.
We made it home, friends. I have a long beard now. See you in the fall!

Movie Reviews & Reappraisals
Be Reel was a movie reviewing & reappraising podcast hosted by Chance Solem-Pfeifer and Noah Ballard.
We cherished our 8-year run, talking to filmmakers like Gus Van Sant, insulting each other’s taste, and laughing to high heaven.
Chance’s new movie podcast, The Kick, continues to explore curated sub-genres and movie geekery. Noah is a frequent and beloved guest.
